The so called native or asian eyes or cheekbones can be found in my family. Not one group owns any physical traits. Although, most non-asians who have "slanted eyes" do not have the epicanthal eye fold found in some Asians. I have almond eyes that get narrower at the corners, as does my mother. There are Africans that have this trait too. So it doesn't make her mixed. I think almond shaped eyes are typical of West Africans, however the shape does vary some. I saw her on t.v. and she said she was black, and didn't know of any other ethnicity. There are only 2 other groups besides some Asians that have the epicanthal eye fold.
